When I was contacted by House of Fraser asking how I’d style an aztec print dress this summer I knew straight away that it’ll be with simple sandals and an accessory.
The dress itself has such a nice design that I didn’t want to layer it with anything that’ll take away the attention, or add too much pattern in the outfit for that matter. So, I ended up using a belt and black summer shoes too.
The dress is super easy to slip on. It’s airy so it’s perfect for this kind weather that has been humid as well as uncharacteristically sunny and hot for London. The fact that it’s not only an aztec design but a monochrome style too means that it’ll go with anything and I was even cheeky enough to wear it to work on a dress-down Friday 😉 In the end though, I decided to add a pop of colour with some orange nail polish to brighten up my black and white outfit for a summery look.
These photos were taken with my new tripod and although it was handy, I think there’s a lot of room for improvement… so I’m planning to make a scrapbook with outfit inspirations and fashion photography.
