It was difficult to decide what to wear for the UK Blog Awards evening on 25th April, an event that was at the fabulous Grange Hotel. Although I wanted to show off my quirky personally through my dress-sense, I also had the responsibility of representing the company that I work for (Carpetright) and be taken seriously as the judge of the blog lifestyle category. So, essentially I decided that I need something sensible and sophisticated but also stylish and trendy. That’s why I went for a black jumpsuit from Reiss and my new favourite, bold blue, high heeled shoes from New Look! Let’s, also, not forget the dangling elongating necklace that I took forever to pick at Dorothy Perkins.
So, after finally picking the perfect outfit that I was comfortable in, I’ve set off to the awards ceremony where I’ve met many amazing individuals. A special mention to Kirsten Beacock from lastminute.com who made the night great fun! Of course, meeting the original Stig and his family was also a moment to remember 🙂
It was an honour to present the winners – awarding them for their hard work.
