Unfortunately I didn’t win … so I’m entering the Tile Mountain competition again! 🙂
BUT, as it’s spring, I feel like going mad and completely changing it. I’m in a botanical kind of mood – probably due to swooning over Jeska’s instagram (below) and joining in on the #botanicalpickmeup hashtag!

Now, in my opinion botanical interior design works really well in a neutral space.
I’ve made a Pinterest board full of neutral bathrooms with gorgeous tiles and lovely green plants.
I’m getting rid of the blue so I have a few choices in regards to what I can paint it, of course if I had money (or won this competition) I’d be able to not only paint the bathroom but order new tiles too…
All White Bathroom
Light and bright, white tiles and white walls are the perfect blank canvas when it comes to adding plants, flowers and natural accessories like wicker baskets and wooden shelves. I can easily see myself soaking in a bubble bath, reading a romantic book.
Grey and Green Bathroom
Muted grey tiles work perfectly with greenery in reflective accessories. Glass vases or bottles work perfectly in darker corners of a grey bathroom as they reflect light, hence making it brighter. I can totally see myself matching towels to the wall colour and making a mosaic DIY vase too!
Beige Botanical Bathroom
I think that beige bathroom tiles and walls will work well with chrome or gold taps and accessories making a super trendy bathroom. Adding botanicals will soften the room’s interior and add nature into the space for the feeling of zen – very much a modern and rustic mix.
Which one of the botanical bathrooms is your favourite?
