The face behind the words
My blog started long before I had the guts to start a website. In fact, I grew up with a pretty picture in my mind. It was a vision of my own fairytale home in which I lived happily ever after.
In 2014, my husband and I bought our first house and we couldn’t be happier. Living in the outskirts of London, in the suburban area of Essex, I’ve fallen in love with the ‘modern country’ living.
So, after being born in Russia and moving to Israel when I was 1, then moving again to England before I was 8, I finally feel like I’ve found where I’m meant to be.
What You Can Expect
I'm a 'hands on' person. My family didn’t have much money when I was growing up so I learnt to make and create on a budget from a very young age.
I wanted a lifestyle blog that’s useful so you’ll find loads of How To guides, video tutorials, DIY, crafts and upcycling posts as well as things that I generally enjoy, such as styling and decorating, fashion and beauty inspiration, books and travel.

About Me, At This Very Moment
I don’t blog full time. It’s a hobby and I don’t currently want to make into a business. I do it for fun and for that fuzzy feeling when someone comments on a blog post to tell me that they’ve found it useful. In fact, I have a full time job in the head office of a large retail company; geeking out. I’m married to the love of my life and I own a pet tortoise.
My style is simple yet stylish. I have recently tried to get out of my comfort zone though and started experimenting with colour, texture and pattern.
