October means that it’s well and truly autumn.
So, when it is autumn, I always fancy eating heart-warming desserts and that means cooked fruits and definitely a delicious apple crumble. I love this time of year when the leaves turn golden and the world seems to radiate a feeling of cosiness, which allows for indulging in scrumptious bites.
Since Amara sent me gorgeous glass mugs and a wooden stand, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to make use of my mug crumble recipe book. I adapted it a little though as I thought that the ingredients I used created a better apple crumble, or at least one I enjoy the taste of more.
Anyway, I’ll stop talking and let you try this mouthwatering recipe, that takes no time to make at all, for yourself!

Step 1:
Mix the apple, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter in a bowl. Now, cook it in the microwave for 2 minutes. Take out and stir. Wait until cool and transfer into your mug.
Step 2:
Add the flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg into a bowl. Then slowly add cubes of cold butter and mix the crumble using your finger tips. You’re finished as soon as your doubt is well mixed and crumbly.
Step 3:
Add your crumble to your mug, adding a layer on top of your apple mix until it’s all covered evenly. Stick it back in the microwave for a minute. This should be done, if not cook again in the microwave for 30 seconds and repeat until you’re it’s hot.
Enjoy!
