Habitat‘s press event saw plenty of mouthwatering sorbet shades. From home accessories to bedding, I saw bright primary colours, simple shapes and bold geometric patterns.
The 80’s Revival collection will definitely make an impact in any home interior. It’s bright, fun and full of energy so I’m not surprised that it caught my eye. I’m loving the contrast between the vases in primary colours – the blue, yellow and orange; with their translucent textures too that make me want to stare. The geometric bedding is perfect for making the bed look bigger than it is as it repeats it often using small shapes, so the stylish 80’s pop-culture look is clever as well as vibrant.
What do you think of the Hawkins armchair? It’s an amalgamation of trendy tubular chrome, luxury velvet and wool, making it a traditional and contemporary furniture piece simultaneously – fascinating.
I’ve always found that I’m not as adventurous with colour as I could be when it comes to interior design and this makes me want to step out of my comfort zone. What do you think of the 80’s inspired home look?
