LUSH: Celebrate Body Lotion, The Olive Branch & Hot Toddy Shower Gels

Another Christmas is upon us!

I thought I’d continue on with my review of Lush items that I got last year as a Christmas present. It has lasted me a very very long time indeed. Whether it’s because I didn’t have time for baths with all the wedding preparation going on or maybe it’s simply because I put away my gifts and forgot about them I don’t know but as it’s Christmas soon I thought it fitting to take them back out, use them asap and review them as I promised when I first got them.

Celebrate Body Lotion

A perfect, festive cream that smells good and moisturises well. I personally couldn’t help but compare it to The Body Shop body lotions and what I found is that unlike The Body Shop creams this one was absorbed into my skin better. I didn’t feel as uncomfortable or greasy as I do with the others so I’m really happy with Celebrate. With it’s almond oil and cocoa butter I can assure you that my legs felt really smooth after I used it and I can’t wait to use it again, maybe on Christmas Day? 🙂

The Olive Branch Shower Gel

The first thing I thought when I read the name of the shower gel was that it must be oily but to my pleasant surprise it really wasn’t. Although it is a conditioning kind of gel, so it’s full of vitamins and skin-softeners it doesn’t leave a layer of grease on your body – whoop! It has a citrus scent to it and I’ve found it left my skin feeling moisturised.

Hot Toddy Shower Gel

This shower gel is one of my favourites from the box. It’s super festive and full of wonderful spices that I associate only with Christmas. You’ve guessed it, it’s cinnamon with hints of ginger!

It has a red colour to it and foams up really well. I don’t know if it’s my imagination but I feel like it has a chili smell to it but it’s sweet too so don’t worry.

Have you tried any of the above Lush products?
