Shut the Front Door! It’s the Festive Season…

Loving the woodland trend this season? Me too!

With lots of cute creatures and nature inspired decor it’s easy to make your whole home come alive.  To create this cosy atmosphere myself, I would add pinecones that are sprayed with fake snow, hang creative garlands with wooden hearts and Christmasy twigs (like the one pictured below) as well as place wooden candle holders.

I’d complete the look with a cute bird or two as well as furry rabbit ornaments or small pictures of owls. The more woodland animals the better I think, especially as they’re super cute!

I always like to follow through my Christmas decorations throughout the home, so the festive season must be seen from even the outdoors – so I’d be sure to hang a wreath on my front door for a traditional look 🙂

In terms of walls or doors, I find that white or duck egg blue really works with the woodland home trend as it emphasises the beauty of the natural brown and green colours of a wood or forest.

Christmas is the perfect time to go all out and create a complete design in your home that you can be proud of. So, if you fancy knowing more, why not grab more inspiration on door decor and designs from Todd Doors’ new blog?
