I’m a massive fan of jumpers.
If you know me well, you’ll know that it’s very hard for me not to buy a jumper when I’m out clothes shopping, especially when it’s the cold season. I especially love knitted items because I appreciate the beautiful patterns and I know how long it would otherwise take me to knit one by hand!
Now, I love to style my knitwear with statement necklaces. It’s easy to make a fashion statement without feeling uncomfortable, that’s why I absolutely love wearing jumpers to the office. It’s easy to wear and super warm 😉

Autumnal Colours: I love wearing dusky colours during the colder season, especially mustard yellow. I tried to find the perfect knitted jumper in that colour and couldn’t so in the end I got it as a gift for Christmas for my sister-in-law which I’m super thankful for! Then there’s the black and grey jumpers which always looks stylish and sleek, perfect for the office in my opinion, especially with a statement necklace. The last but not least is the monochrome knit, which is more of a cosy and casual layer than the others. What colours are you wearing this autumn?
Keeping Warm: My favourite part about knitwear is that they’re so warm and cosy to wear. Whoever came up with the slogan ‘no pain no gain’ can forget it when it comes to keeping warm in a knitted jumper.
Knitwear Trend: Knitted items just call to be touched, don’t they? They’re everywhere, be it knitted clothes or knitted cushion cover so that you can dress yourself and your home in the knitwear trend 😉
Statement Necklace: I feel that as knitted jumpers are usually quite plain, and when it comes to autumn the colours are quite dark, so adding a necklace can draw the eye by adding a bit of bling and I use it to put my own stamp on the outfit. Necklaces are also a great way to create a particular fashion style, for example the feather metal necklace with the black jumper combo creates a ‘rock chick’ look.
You might have read my Vienna travel post when I visited Austria in the Spring where I wrote about the architecture, Sacher cake, opera house and more. Well, you might have also spotted me wearing my grey knitted jumper that I styled with the marble trio necklace, and although I’m wearing glasses, don’t be fooled because it was just as chilly as it was sunny!

So, enough of me harping on about how amazing jumpers are (and no doubt my collection has grown by a jumper or two by the time it’s taken you to read my post on my fashion sense…) and time for you to tell me whether or not you have a favourite jumper and necklace combination that you’re definitely going to wear this winter.
Thumbs up or thumbs down for jumpers with statement necklaces?
