Do you know that feeling when you can’t walk out of your house without just a bit of powder… well I’m like that but with my Luminous Radiance Radiant Touche Eclat from Debenhams.
After several years I’m still using the well-known and the well-loved YSL highlighting pen.
What Shade to Choose When Buying your Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat…
1. Always do your research and know your skin – go into store if you’re not sure.
2. Check your shade – here’s one review I found really helpful on the colours available.
3. Learn to contour and how to use the YSL pen. The first time I used it I was super confused (a friend offered me her one as she bought the wrong shade) I didn’t understand why it didn’t conceal, however I later realised that it’s not a concealer but a highlighter. Watch this video on how to contour, highlight & illuminate your skin – this one is especially for those pale girls like me!
And finally, my own opinion and blogger review of the YSL Touche Eclat! I went for the Luminous Radiance. I wanted something that brightens up my complexion and one I can use under my eyes, chin and forehead too. If I chose Luminous Ivory then it would have pink tones and I think it wouldn’t look right in the areas on which I use it for. I’m frankly too pale for all the others haha.
Have you tried the infamous Touche Eclat and what shade suits you?

Touche Eclat is still a classic for me, I use a lighter shade that works really well as a highlight on my skin tone! When I first got this I thought it was a concealer was only until I started using it as a highlight that it changed the way my makeup looks…just adds a glow! 🙂 xx
